easy insta-pot pastured chicken recipe

This recipe is my FAVORITE for cooking our pastured poultry.

​

  • You can cook your chicken frozen in under an hour or 30 minutes if thawed!

  • Chicken turns out super moist and just falls off the bone (regardless if cooked from frozen or thawed)

  • You can easily make broth after cooking the chicken to make the most of the whole animal in the same pot

INGREDIENTS:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Rinse and pat-dry chicken

  2. Season liberally with salt and pepper (or seasoning of your choice)

  3. Place seasoned chicken in insta-pot ( I leave the neck on for additional broth and flavor)

  4. Pour 2 cups of water or chicken broth into instapot

  5. Set insta-pot to high pressure for 30 minutes for thawed chicken or 45 minutes if frozen

  6. Let pressure release naturally for an additional 10-15 minutes

  7. Enjoy your amazingly delicious, nutritious, quick and easy chicken!
